Manually downloading bank statements, delayed payment confirmations, no automation between your bank and ERP — these are common pain points for businesses that haven't integrated MonoBank with Odoo. The Netframe team has built two separate modules, each solving a distinct problem. This article answers the most common client questions.

Two modules — two different jobs
An important distinction upfront. Netframe offers two separate modules for working with MonoBank in Odoo:
Module 1 — MonoBank + Odoo Integration. Bank statement synchronisation: automatic transaction imports, support for LLC and sole trader accounts, multiple simultaneous connections. 👉 View module
Module 2 — Plata by Mono (MonoBank Acquiring for Odoo) E-commerce acquiring: accept online payments via MonoBank with automatic order confirmation and invoice closing. 👉 View module
Which accounts does the module support?
The module supports two MonoBank account types:
- Corporate LLC accounts — via the MonoBank Corporate API (corp-api.monobank.ua)
- FOP (sole trader) accounts — via the MonoBank Open API
A single Odoo instance can simultaneously connect multiple LLCs, multiple sole traders, or any combination. All financial flows managed from one workspace.
What API is used under the hood?
The module automatically selects the correct API based on account type:
| Account type | API |
|---|---|
| LLC (legal entity) | MonoBank Corporate API |
| FOP (sole trader) | MonoBank Open API |
This architecture ensures correct authorisation and data retrieval for each account type with no additional configuration required from the user.
How do I connect MonoBank to Odoo?
The process differs slightly depending on account type.
For FOP (sole traders):
- Log in to your personal MonoBank cabinet
- Get your token at: api.monobank.ua
For LLC (legal entities):
- Authorise in the MonoBank web cabinet at: web.monobank.ua
- Select your company and generate a personal-use token
Connecting in Odoo (same for both account types):
- Open any journal with type "Bank"
- In the journal form, click the "Connect Monobank" button
- Follow the setup wizard in the modal window
- Select the accounts available under your token and assign a journal to each one
A detailed setup guide is included in the module documentation.

How often are payments imported?
Automatic synchronisation runs every 12 hours. Manual import for any selected date range is also available on demand.
Some MonoBank payments (as with other banks) may show a "pending" status if the bank hasn't finished processing them — this is expected behaviour.
Note: Webhook support for real-time payment delivery is not available in the current version of the module.
What about acquiring and online payments?
Accepting online payments via MonoBank is handled by a separate module — Plata by Mono. It covers the full e-commerce flow: redirecting the customer to the MonoBank payment page, then automatically confirming the Sale Order and closing the invoice once payment is received.

Common setup issues
Problem: Status shows Connected, but journals are not created.
What to check:
- Is the token generated for the correct company (LLC vs FOP)?
- Does the user have accounting access rights in Odoo?
- Are the bank journals configured correctly?
- Are there any errors in the Odoo logs (Settings → Technical → Logging)?
If the issue persists, the Netframe team provides free diagnostics for module clients.
Conclusion
Two modules — two jobs: bank statements and acquiring. Together they cover the full MonoBank + Odoo workflow — from automatic transaction imports to accepting online payments, with no manual intervention required.
